Projects in TMCWA
Morris Township Park Enhancements

Morris Township Community Park has undergone a number of recent updates, including a new ADA walking trail, handicap accessible fishing docks, and a covered pedestrian bridge.  While the project was primarily funded through a PA DCNR grant, TMCWA was pleased to be able to provide support from an in-liu-fee penalty fund provided by Range Resources to WCWA.

West Bethlehem Township Ten Mile Creek Access Feasibility Study

To create social and recreation recreational opportunities for the residents of West Bethlehem Township and Marianna Borough by capitalizing on Ten Mile Creek as a water trail. TMCWA granted $5,000 towards this project via it's community grant's program with funding from an from an in-liu-fee penalty paid by Range Resources to the Washington County Watershed Alliance. WCWA was chosen as a responsible local nonprofit entity to manage the penalty money that would have otherwise went to the state government. TMCWA is a member Watershed Association of the Washington County Watershed Alliance.
